WE ARE BASED IN BARCELONA SPAIN
We are originally a Dutch company, with our headquarters located in Barcelona, Spain. Spain offers a favorable environment for providing our financial services and serves as the management hub for our international branches.
Our company is organized as a Sociedad Limitada (S.L.), registered under the name “Monetary Science Institute S.L.”, and incorporated on February 22, 2024, operating under the trade name Golden Goose Invest. This structure is comparable to a Limited Liability Company (LLC). The founder and sole shareholder, Filip Filipovic, holds full control over the company, overseeing both strategic and operational decisions.
What sets our company apart is our flexible business model, which operates without permanent staff. Instead, we collaborate on a project basis with specialized professionals from diverse sectors such as IT, mathematics, finance, media, programming, and data science. This approach enables us to deliver tailored solutions that meet our specific requirements while maintaining low and adaptable operational costs. By not having fixed personnel expenses, we significantly reduce overhead costs, providing us with a competitive edge in cost-efficiency and scalability.
The LLC structure supports this approach, allowing us to operate efficiently both locally and internationally, and to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs, all without compromising the quality of our financial services.
Compliance Requirements
Since 2020, currency trading and its resulting derivatives are no longer under the supervision of the Spanish financial authority Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), as established in the relevant regulations. Given that our activities are 100% focused on currency trading, we do not qualify for a license granted by the CNMV for regulated activities in the financial markets.
However, in collaboration with our specialized compliance team, Franco & Romero, we have developed a robust compliance framework that fully adheres to the applicable laws and regulations. This framework ensures that we conduct our activities within legal and ethical boundaries, allowing us to effectively manage risks while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
Our internal processes and control systems are continuously evaluated and optimized to ensure that we remain compliant with current legislation and best practices in compliance and risk management.
FILIP FILIPOVIC Founder
I began my career in multimedia and soon expanded into IT, where
I led projects in front- and back-end development to meet the growing demand for application development. Although I don't have a formal background in the financial sector, I have always been a passionate investor, inspired by Jim Simons and his quantitative investment methods. Combining my IT and investment knowledge,
I assembled a team in 2018 that followed these strategies and developed a successful investment model.
In addition, I am actively involved in monetary studies from a Fintech perspective and am working on Molease, a start-up focused on "Money Leasing," where Private Equity can circulate within a closed ecosystem, with a commission charged per transaction.
I am a passionate and forward-thinking entrepreneur, dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for a future-proof society.
